August, 2022 - A thing about THING Festival... Working Artist Relations with the STG family was a dream. Hosted at Fort Worden, a former military base with walkable saltwater beaches and views of the Puget Sound scenic waterfront, Port Townsend, WA was a perfect host to this diverse affair boasting a distinctive mix of music, comedy, visual arts, and speakers. A special thanks to Siren's Pub (823 Water St, Port Townsend) for serving 18 delicious pizzas to hometown headliners, Modest Mouse.
Now in its 38th year, the Earshot Jazz Festival returns in October with performances, premieres, and workshops at more than a dozen venues across the city, showcasing esteemed Pacific Northwest resident artists alongside internationally renowned masters in a celebration of Seattle’s vibrant jazz scene. This year’s lineup includes Branford Marsalis and Dianne Reeves Celebrate Coltrane, Gary Bartz, Meshell Ndgeocello, Kiefer, Warren Wolf, Sasha Berliner, Dos Santos, and more to be announced soon.
